Banja Luka fans display shameful banner ‘Glory to Russia’ during match

Football fans of Banja Luka Football Club “Borac” displayed a shameful banner during a match with “Siroki Brijeg” FC in which the local club won 1:0, on Friday.

They first tried to spoil the entire atmosphere of the game by targeting the visitors’ goalkeeper Renato Josipovic in the 80th minute with torches. Fortunately, the goalie avoided the hail without any injuries.

This was not the only incident made by the home team fans as the so-called “Vultures” placed a large banner in support of Russia for the whole world to see. On it was written, ” Слава России” (“Glory to Russia”)…

Despite the banner being visible throughout the match, the referees did not find it necessary to stop the match or ask that it be removed from the stands.
