Symbol of BiH Armed Forces illuminated across landmark Sarajevo City Hall

The landmark Sarajevo City Hall was illuminated on Thursday evening with the colours of the BiH flag and the symbol of the Armed Forces with the greeting: “Happy Day of BiH Armed Forces”.

This is the 17th anniversary of the formation of the unique army the country has had since 2005.

The NATO Alliance also is proud to be your friend and partner.

NATO BiH also congratulated the Day of the AFBiH on Facebook with the message “NATO is proud to be your friend and partner.”

“Today we celebrate the Armed Forces – they are the Armed Forces of BiH of all peoples and citizens, the people experience them that way. The armed forces are neither Bosniaks, Serbs, Croats, nor others. That is the greatest value,” Deputy Defense Minister Mijo Kresic said.
